The Nautis project represents the meeting point between musicians of different extraction and geographical origin, each of them bringing their own personal baggage of experiences, embracing those of the others in a journey without stylistic barriers: Arabian maqamat, mittel-European harmonies, Nordic sounds, counterpoints in polyphonic style, elements of jazz improvisation, all find fusion and balance in an unspecified itinerant place between Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. The group boasts the publication of two albums (Paesaggi Mediterranei, © Global Sonics, 2021 and the forthcoming Maedina) and participations to important festivals in Italy and France, including Campania Teatro Festival, Festival Son d'Automne (Annecy), Forum des associations franco-italiennes (Paris) and others.
